“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is what you learn on the way down.”
– Jigar Gor
Hatha Yoga
Hatha is a general category that includes most of our yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
Restorative/Chair Yoga
Our dedicated instructors also specialise in ‘Restorative Yoga’. This gentle approach can also assist recovery including post surgery, trauma and other conditions. Our chair yoga will benefit anyone who prefers to do yoga in a chair, such as seniors or those in a chair at work. Restorative Yoga is also a great way to start your Yoga Journey.
Kundalini Yoga
The term Kundalini means “a spiritual energy or life force located at the base of the spine”. Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. It is an uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices that incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques and meditation. The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
